আজ ৯ মে শনিবার ১১ জন পোশাক শ্রমিকের করোনা শনাক্ত হয়েছে। তাঁরা গাজীপুরে বিভিন্ন পোশাক গ্রুপ এ কাজ করেন। আক্রান্ত ব্যক্তিদের মধ্যে কয়েকজন হাসপাতালে ও কয়েকজনকে নিজ বাসায় আইসোলেশনে রাখা হয়েছে।সিভিল কার্যালয় সূত্রে জানা গেছে, এই নিয়ে এ জেলায় ৩৩৮ জনের করোনা পজিটিভ পাওয়া গেছে। গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ১৩০ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষা করে ২ জন পজিটিভ পাওয়া গেছে। গাজীপুরে নতুন করোনা পজিটিভ রোগীর সংখ্যা ২। করোনাভাইরাস আক্রান্ত হয়ে জেলায় এ পর্যন্ত দুজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। গাজীপুর শিল্প পুলিশ সুপার বলেন, ৭টি পোশাক কারখানার ১১ জন শ্রমিক আক্রান্ত হয়েছেন। তাঁদের মধ্যে ৩ (তিন) জন শহীদ তাজউদ্দীন আহমদ মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে এবং একজন টঙ্গীর গণস্বাস্থ্য হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন। অন্য ৭ জন হোম আইসোলেশনে রয়েছেন।
গাজীপুর সদর উপজেলা স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার পরিকল্পনা কর্মকর্তা মোহাম্মদ শাহিন বলেন, গাজীপুরে শনাক্ত ১১ শ্রমিকের মধ্যে ৩ জনের নমুনা পরীক্ষা হয়েছে। অন্যন্য জেলায় নিজ নিজ নমুনা পরীক্ষা করান।

According to the civil office, 338 coronae positive were found in the district. In the last 24 hours, 130 people were tested and 2 people were found positive. The number of new corona positive patients in Gazipur is 2. Two people have died of coronavirus in the district so far.
Gazipur Industrial Police Superintendent said 11 workers of 8 garment factories were affected. Three of them are undergoing treatment at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital and one at Tongi Public Health Hospital. The other 6 are in home isolation.
Gazipur Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Mohammad Shahin said three of the 11 workers identified in Gazipur had been tested. Have your samples tested in other districts?
